About Journal

Journal of Engineering and Construction Management (JECM) is the first Iranian specialized journal in the field of engineering and construction management.

Despite the existence of prestigious and valuable journals related to civil engineering and architecture, the lack of a specialized journal in the field of engineering and construction management in the countryside caused this journal to start working in 2015 as a first Iranian specialized journal in the field. The basis of JECM publication is the promotion and development of the construction management science with a sustainable development approach. Therefore, while reflecting the scientific and research achievements in various fields of the construction industry, this journal tries to provide a basis for the publication of technical studies and developments in the construction industry by focusing on the specialized topics of engineering and construction management and propose a platform for expanding scientific achievements in the field of construction management and technology with a sustainable development approach.

In order to achieve the goals of "JECM", all professors, experts and students of civil, architecture, urban engineering and other fields related to the construction industry are requested to submit their innovative and valuable scientific achievements to this journal. The manuscripts submitted to this journal are expected to:

  • have a completely useful and comprehensive content and avoid basic and general explanations.
  • have high research quality and an original, innovative and fundamental contribution in the field of construction industry.
  • pursuit of filling the gap between the academic and research environments, executives and decision makers of the construction industry.
  • directly related to the research axes of the publication and in order to promote topics related to engineering and construction management and sustainable development.
  • contain novel and original content in scientific and technical fields and have not been published in other journals before (it should be noted that articles presented in conferences are excluded from this role and they will be printed if they accepted by the journal evaluation process).

 Journal's Publishing Policies 

  • Article Processing Charge (APC)

 The process of reviewing and publishing articles in the Journal of Engineering and Construction Management has no APC for the authors.

 

  • Subscription Fee

The JECM is published as an electronic journal with free open access, so there is no subscription fee for the audience.

 

  • Open Access Statement

The JECM is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication. JECM article's published under the terms and conditions of the  Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0), and license holders can copy, distribute, display and create the papers only if citing the original published article.
