Knowledge management impact on economic productivity of knowledge-based projects

Abstract

Surely nowadays, knowledge management is considered as one the essential factors for national and industrial development; while on the other hand, it is responsible for tackling the problem facing in nationwide economy and production fields. In the ever growing world of competition and technology, scholars as well as high official managers regard efficient productivity either as target or as instrument. Fundamental researches can play significant role in synergizing science and wealth, developing knowledge-based economy, realizing scientific and economic purposes (including application of innovation and patents) and commercializing the research achievements in high-tech and high added value areas.
The main goal of this research is to investigate the effect of knowledge management on economic productivity of fundamental researches. Statistical population in this study was knowledge based companies in Iran, while its index was estimated to be 174 according to Cochran test. The instrumental way of investigation was questionnaire. The reliability of the data based on the alpha test was 82. The final results show that there is considerable correlation between knowledge management and economic productivity. On the other knowledge management affect the productivity. In this way, the results of this study revealed that knowledge creation, storage and application as well as its contribution will be effective in the economic productivity of these sorts of enterprises and there id direct relation among them.
