Abstract

Any assurance of the sustainability and proper functioning of water transfer tunnels, which are vital in the arteries, is very important in all conditions, especially in post-earthquake situations. In this paper, the stability of water transmission tunnels in the Black Forest dam has been evaluated under six earthquakes near and far in different magnitudes and with regard to water pressure in tunnels. Then, in order to sensitize and evaluate the effect of different parameters in the design of tunnels and evaluate their effects, the method is used. The code designed in this article is prepared in MATLAB environment and shows the effectiveness and impact of each of the parameters. The results of this method show that the water level of the tunnels (15%), the modulus of elasticity (11%), the earthquake entrance angle (10%) and the earthquake intensity (9%), the most effective parameters and displacement (30%), strain 20%) and stress (18%) were the most influential parameters.
